* FanCommunityNicknames
** Earlier fans were called "Muffins," which came about from the Morning Show performance -- Emilie wanted something to replace the PrecisionFStrike in the song, so she asked for suggestions, and received "Muffin." Afterward, she used it to refer to her fans.
** When she moved onto portraying the Asylum of her book, she started calling her fans "Inmates" and "Plague Rats" instead, in reference to the new theme of her live shows. Introducing new fans to Emilie Autumn likewise became known as "spreading the plague."

* FaceOfTheBand: Despite Emilie being a solo artist, her live shows avert this. Most muffins can name the late ''Opheliac'' era line up of Bloody Crumpets (Veronica, Aprella, Captain Maggots, and Contessa,) which was probably helped by them being introduced during the show. The Crumpets preceding them tend not to have their names known as well however, though most fans can name at least Captain Vecona and Lady Joo Hee (who is the only Crumpet on any album.)

* HairTriggerTemper: EA has been known to fly off the handle, and ending up alienating a large number of her fans over the years. A few specific incidents:
** She shut down her forum and then lashed out at forum users in the Website/{{Facebook}} post announcing the forum's closure, saying that everyone who used the forum should grow up and go outside.
** Before the forum closed, she reacted poorly to criticism as well as assumptions made about her bipolar disorder on the site. This attitude lead to the infamous [=CosetteAlice=] incident, which lead to her quitting the forum entirely before she closed it years later.
** She has destroyed several business relationships (those with [=RockLove=] and [=AromaLeigh=] are the most well-known.) There are also several fans who never received items they ordered from EA (including one fan who bought her iPod for a thousand dollars,) and have yet to receive a refund.

* CrackIsCheaper: A lifetime membership in her official fanclub was $100. When she stopped accepting lifetime memberships, prices became much, much more reasonable. Unfortunately, the fanclub barely lasted a year and closed in September 2014.

** When taken at face value, it's easy to see "Thank God I'm Pretty" as Wangst, particularly for fans who aren't that pretty themselves. More generally, though, it can be interpreted as a statement that nobody has the right to judge your problems as trivial just because you have an attribute that someone else lacks, which is something to which most people can relate.

* DoesNotLikeMen: EA has been accused of this, especially with the dawn of the song "Fight Like a Girl" (''I'll get my revenge on the world or at least 49% of the people in it.'' [[note]]The "49%" bit referring to the fact that women, despite their oppressed status, form a slight majority over men in many countries' populations)[[/note]]).
** She has countered this by saying most of the album is open to her male fans and there is some lines about "If you're against this you're with me regardless of gender" lyrics. At least in the demo version before she started performing it.
*** Also in the (recently released) studio version of "Fight Like a Girl," there's the line 'Even if you're only a boy, you can fight like a girl.' Not perfect, but doesn't ENTIRELY hate men.
*** One could also consider that the "49%" is not necessarily referring to the percentage of men there are in the world, but rather, to the fact that Emilie has more supporters on her side than those that are not:

** FridgeBrilliance comes into play when it comes full circle, she's refer to woman as the stronger sex, while saying Fight Like a Girl (Weakly) which confuses people which is the POINT of the whole exercise... With the 49 percentile (The people who don't get it) and the If You're Only A Boy ("Even if you're just a boy you can join in too.")

''dear'' '''''God''''', the Asylum forum... just about every significant change has led to rage and fury from the muffins (the removal of the 'Filthy Libertines' subforum, the announcement that the 'Speak in Your Own Language' subforums would be made read-only, the chat's transformation, and the removal of every non-EA related subforum to say the least.)
*** There was a rather lovely incident where (Queen) fLee, a former moderator for the forums, made some comment alleging that some people had lied about the reasons they were banned. Cue a very angry reaction from fandom calling her out for being probably one of the biggest reasons why the fandom has become so fractured (she would ban people for ridiculous reasons, and generally was not a nice person to interact with.) *** The story became more complicated when it was revealed that the "fan" who had made the comments was [=IceAxe=], who was well known for being a rather disturbed individual who borderline stalked Emilie (and in fact is still obsessed with her.) When he got kicked off the moderator team and banned from the forums, he found Emilie's old phone number on the iPhone. Taking a shot, he sent a private text message to that number and it turns out that was STILL Emilie's number. She freaked out and promptly banned him from any Emilie Autumn shows or events for life."
