• Funny Moments: Basically the entire episode, as there is no shortage of them:
  • Especially the final scene.
  • The scene where Ed eats the camera is widely regarded to be the funniest moment in the entire series.
• Harsher in Hindsight: After "Big Picture Show" where we see just how Eddy's brother really is, it makes you realize that he sent Eddy those baby things deliberately out of cruelty. The line "No more beatin' up little Eddy, eh big brother?" didn't help and it actually foreshadows the event in the future.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • "SWEET EDDY. YOU'RE COOL, MAN." ^Explanation Eddy uses cardboard cutouts in an attempt to show how popular he is to his brother. This is the line he gives Kevin, which has become prime YouTube Poop material over the years.
  • "RUN AWAY!!"^Explanation This line is said twice in the episode after their setups end up going horribly awry. It got to the point that many associate the phrase with the Eds in general, to the point of being a pseudo-catchphrase, despite this episode being the most prominent example of such.
  • "MAN THE HELMS! DIVE, DIVE!!" And Ed eating cameras in general, thanks to being widely regarded as one of the funniest moments in the entire series.
• Older Than They Think: The "RUN AWAY!!" bit goes back a ways, though it's treated as a Running Gag only in this episode. It's also a Shout-Out to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, where Arthur and his knights would yell the line with the exact same inflection while retreating.
