- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Why is La-Mulana so much more popular in the West than in Japan? DC's epic LP of the game played a large part.
- Growing the Beard: Around the time he gained a new microphone, the Let's Play community softened up on him quite a bit.
- Harsher in Hindsight:
- Prior to starting his run of La-Mulana's Hell Temple, bragging about how he's gonna "prance about town with [the Hell Temple] treasure." The treasure, as he learned some 20 episodes later, turns out to be a skimpy swimsuit. Followed by a portrait of Lemeza cheerfully wearing it.
- His guest appearance in Diabetus' LP of Little Nemo: The Dream Master definitely fits.
- Heartwarming Moments: During a five minute stretch of complete boredom, he let's us know the only thing that let him get through it a second time is that we're enjoying his work.
- Another one in his La-Mulana 2 run. When Alsedana passes away in game, he spends the last few seconds having Lumisa kneel next to the grieving Mulbruk, as if comforting her.
- Memetic Mutation: WOOOOORMS!
- Never Live It Down: His most mean-spirited comments in YouTube and Grammar Nazi nature have defined him as a negative person for a few people.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- From "Let's Play La-Mulana Again 0A: HELL TEMPLE": The shot of Lemeza hanging himself by his own whip. It's fake, though.
- From "Let's Play La-Mulana Again 0B": Lemeza in the Skimpy Suit. FEATURING UBOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
- Once Original, Now Overdone: While one of the earliest prominent Let's Play Youtubers out there, Deceased Crab has never risen to the same prominence as some contemporaries, much less the personalities that would emerge in the next decade. His particular brand of Large Ham and relatively unaltered format since 2007 might not have the same appeal for many as the reaction cam coverage that first started cropping up in the 2010s.
- Spoiled by the Format: The Papers, Please LP. Since he usually only does one video per in-game day, if the video is short, chances are the day will be interrupted by a terrorist attack.
