  • Crosses the Line Twice: In "One More Minute", the things that the narrator would supposedly rather do instead of spend time with his ex-girlfriend.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: Al gets his heart ripped out to comedic effect in both the song and the music video for "One More Minute." It's far less comic when his character in Batman vs. Robin gets the same treatment.
  • So Bad, It's Good: "Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch", only because of how deliberately bad he made it.
  • Squick: Some of Al's Would Rather Suffer descriptions in "One More Minute" — even the ones that aren't extremely violent — are quite repulsive. The worst offender:
I'd rather get my blood sucked out by leeches
Shove an icepick under a toenail or two
I'd rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station with my tongue
Than spend one more minute with you
  • Unintentional Period Piece: "Dare to Be Stupid" references commercials for Charmin toilet paper and the National Coffee Association, commercials that have not aired on TV since the 1980s.
  • Values Dissonance: "Cable TV" has a line about watching television while driving. Electronic devices have been responsible for distracted driving being on the rise since the Turn of the Millennium, so that would be a huge problem to sing about these days.
    • Values Resonance: Then again, it's not like the song encourages this, as despite the upbeat tone, the singer is mentally unwell and is using television as an unhealthy coping mechanism.
