- Alternative Joke Interpretation: Is it the dinosaurs or the lawyers who are "really not all bad" in "Jurassic Park"? Al himself has said that he deliberately made the joke ambiguous so that the audience could decide.
- Harsher in Hindsight: "Traffic Jam" opens with "Carbon monoxide making me choke". 10½ years after the album's release, Al's parents died of CO poisoning in their home.
- Misaimed Fandom: "Achy Breaky Song" saw frequent airplay on country music stations despite Al only dabbling into the genre only once before ("Good Enough for Now" on Polka Party!).
- Unintentional Period Piece: "Achy Breaky Song" mentions ABBA and The Bee Gees as two bands he Would Rather Suffer to listen to than Billy Ray Cyrus; both acts have since become more critically acclaimed and beloved by listeners than they were in The '90s. And even Billy Ray Cyrus has seen this as well, especially after he partnered with Lil Nas X on a version of "Old Town Road" in The New '10s.
