• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Cordelia says she'd kill to live in L.A.. Give it time.
  • When Buffy first learns of vampires in Sunnydale? She confronts Giles and demands "What's the sitch?"
• Les Yay: The interactions between Buffy and Willow are very easy to see as "love at first sight", particularly the longing looks when Cordelia runs Willow off at the water fountain and the decisive way in which Buffy chooses Willow, despite Cordelia and Willow each telling her that she can't have both and that choosing Willow will mark her as unpopular.
• Narm: The very first Bronze scene. It's ...pretty obvious that the band, especially the drummer, aren't actually playing their instruments.
