• Awesome Music: The opening theme became an instant hit as well as a popular ringtone in Russia and other countries where the series aired.
• Do Not Do This Cool Thing: The series is massively criticized for portraying The Mafiya as a bunch of charismatic, heroic guys who are the better option compared to an authoritarian government or cops turned criminals. Some of the actors have said that neither the Brigada's honor nor their friendship would have lasted in real life and they would have killed each other for money and influence.
• Draco in Leather Pants: All of the main guys are romanticized for being handsome, "heroic" criminals (see Do Not Do This Cool Thing above), but Pcholkin is the most beloved one in the fandom. Something to do with the fact that he revealed later on that he had a crush on Sasha's wife as well as being the only one of the guys to stay single.
• Narm: The scene where Sasha takes his revenge is scored by a rather quiet and somewhat comically sounding fanfare. Many think that the bombastic main theme would have been more suitable.
