YMMV / Bodies (2023)

• Spiritual Successor: The series has drawn a lot of comparisons to an earlier Netflix show, Dark, and it's not hard to see the parallels. Time travel plot involving multiple time periods in the past, present and future? Check. Stable Time Loop that ends up being unraveled by the end? Check. Time-displaced corpse(s) with eye trauma? Check. Impending cataclysm? Check. A troubled teenage boy who is his own ancestor and finds himself a pawn for the machinations of an Apocalypse Cult headed by his own evil future self? Check, check and check. That said, Bodies is nowhere near as grim in general tone.
