For tropes related to the franchise in general, outside of Garupa PICO!, see here.

Beware of unmarked spoilers, even if the series' episodes are quite short and comedic.

  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Episode 23 of Garupa PICO OHMORI has two of these related to Aya's tongue twister challenge and drinking green smoothie when she fails the challenge. Her voice actress, Ami Maeshima (also known as Amita) drinked a green juice as seen here in a live stream, complete with the attempting a tongue twister much like the character she voices. She actually makes quite the reaction face, unlike Aya who she voices in the animation. That being said, she is actually better at tongue twisters than one would expect, as she won the tongue twister battle where she competed against Riko Kohara (Rikopin), which can be watched here.
  • Memetic Badass: To an extent, after the release of Garupa PICO FEVER! episode 10, Mashiro reaches this status due to her surprising Chuunibyou moment that actually gives Ako a run for her money, and later declares Mashiro as a god.
  • Memetic Loser:
    • Marina, the resident Butt-Monkey in the Garupa PICO series, usually tend to have the short stick of things happening on her. She even died three times within a span of four episodes in the first season (EP 19, EP 20, and EP 22), and outside of that, in Garupa PICO Ohmori, she's also subject to CiRCLE's windows being constantly broken by newspapers in episode 12.
    • But perhaps nobody has it worse than Misaki and Michelle, who if counted together as one character, would arguably have up to a total of 7 deaths across the three seasons, the most of all the characters in the series, with four of them within the first season. Her "death" at S1E6, while not might be obvious to some watchers at first, was essentially treated as the first true death in the Garupa PICO series. Poor Misaki, she can't even catch a break in S3E16 where Michelle gets swept away by the sea's waves.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • The humorous "deaths" in the series, to begin with. This is frequent with the first season's episodes, but tuned down significantly in the third season, much to the dismay of fans who especially have gotten used to these "deaths".
    • "No thoughts. Head empty." Explanation
    • Mashiro is a Chuunibyou. Explanation
  • Never Live It Down:
    • The Garupa PICO series itself has reputation for their Running Gag of Death as Comedy being used in several episodes, sometimes with even creepiness that otherwise feels out of the series; such as Rimi's "death" (turning into a Cornet) in Episode 9, or Hello, Happy World! freezing on a mountain in Episode 14.
    • Due to the "Freaky Friday" Flip ensuing in Episode 16 ("Poppin' Shuffle"), the apparent expression of Rimi having more angry-looking Tsundere-like expressions than usual note  is considered the most iconic moment in that episode. To a lesser extent, "Arisa" acting much like Kasumi (because it is actually her, in Arisa's body) is also considered hilarious enough (and this is nothing saying short about one of the game's collabs where Arisa has an Imagine Spot where she and Kasumi have a Personality Swap, where Arisa is the more cheerful one and Kasumi is somewhat acts more like a Tsundere, albeit also in a colder tone.)
    • After the release of Garupa PICO FEVER! Episode 10, the fanbase will basically never, ever live down the fact that Mashiro is a Chuunibyou, and Ako calling her "God" after the former recites a verse from "The Black La Vie en Rose". In addition, Mashiro's own notebook, which Ako readed, seems very interesting to Ako herself because of it's chuunibyou writing contents. It's also easily the biggest highlight in the episode, and is surprising when first revealed for fans considering that it clashes with Mashiro's normally shy and reserved personality.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Several of the scenes in the series can be really disturbing, especially if they involve "deaths". More details here.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Some fans are quite disappointed when there are more episodes in Garupa PICO FEVER! that don't have any character "deaths".
