YMMV / Bad Monday Simulator

Go To

  • Difficulty Spike: Monday mode is substantially harder than either other difficulty. It causes even the slightest scrape against Sansfield's attacks to spell defeat, and attacks involving Gameplay Randomization are resultingly much more dangerous.
  • Fridge Brilliance: The fork embedded into the Spaghetti disappears early in the item use animation. While the plate vanishing like the food does isn't explained, you're not necessarily eating the fork along with the spaghetti. You're using it as a utensil to eat the spaghetti with.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Should you have tried to finish Sansfield off, the blood from the SOUL is more prominent in the ending screen at higher difficulty levels. Regardless of the last choice, the fanfare spirals downwards in Monday mode.
    • In the ending where Nermal succeeds in killing Sansfield, he then straight-up decides to "kill" the player. The "viewer"'s vision and hearing fading away as they are bloodily clawed into, over and over...
  • That One Attack: For the sixth attack of Sansfield's third phase, miniature versions of his components appear adjacent to a small box you're in. Sans then throws bones that swerve down at you, and Garfield shoots bullets straight at you. The two patterns combined in such a cramped space make up the hardest non-randomized attack to dodge in the whole game. Lumpy Touch himself agrees that "Garfgun" is the toughest attack in the game.
