- Fridge Brilliance: Priscilla likes Josh so much because she was dating his dad and saw him as a son-figure. this is also why she keeps his friends and girlfriend away from the deadly slide, and why she sends the kids who bullied Josh down it.
- Narm:
- Possibly intentional, though the film skirts the line between Stealth Parody and serious slasher movie. The terrible cover of "Sunglasses at Night" and the weird dance scene before the race are most noteworthy.
- The special effects are perfectly fine for the most part, but one particular shot where a head goes flying and is obviously a mannequin might spoil any potential scare factor.
- The Running Gag of Chad being called the wrong name is fine for comedic moments. As the dead bodies are coming down the slide, Conrad calls him Chuck and tells him to turn off the water... to which Chad snaps "It's CHAD!" and refuses to do anything. This is all done with the same seriousness as the rest of the scene and really doesn't fit.
