YMMV / Animal Crossing: The Movie

• Accidental Innuendo: Near the end, Ai says "Boys have a nice warmth". Either way you hear it, it sounds sexual.
• Ass Pull: The aliens that come to the town don't really make much sense, even with the context of the bottled letters.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Pascal's segment doesn't really make much sense. Don't worry, you won't hear from him ever again. Made even stranger when you realize he's voiced in Japanese by Takashi Miike (yes, that Takashi Miike).
• Moe: Margie and Ai are this to some fans of the movie.
• Tear Jerker: Margie moving away, and Ai's desperation in trying to cope. Margie's winter visit, too.
