• Sequelitis: The first film was a lighthearted comedy film with a heart. Albeit nothing groundbreaking, it had spirit and a well-defined plot. Indeed, it boasts a 6.5 on IMDB and 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. 6.5 and 71% may be not be such impressive scores on their own, but for a film of Ang Tanging Ina's nature, they're pretty damn impressive. However, the next films in the franchise became more and more commercial, with the final entry Enteng ng Ina Mo garnering the most dismal reviews and viewer ratings.
