- Awesome Music: In the fight with Geekdorph, "Gotcha" by B Boys from the original plays, only without its lyrics. It turns out to be quite the funky track that gives the fight a badass feel.
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: Nine tracks that only have one mission each and three level themes? No multiplayer or racing with computers? No wonder the game was universally panned for being super short and lacking replay value. Even worse, the GBA version can be completed in half the time of the home versions.
- Scrappy Mechanic: Having to switch between three modes to take advantage of different pads has been criticized for being nearly impossible to switch to the correct mode in time and not adding anything beyond Fake Difficulty. The game would likely play better if all modes were always available or if it worked differently.
