Mamemo is a French Musical Animated Series by Mamale/Tapage Nocturne featuring songs by the Belgian.children's music duo of the same name.
The show had no real plot to it. It was mainly a series of musical episodes starring the titular Mamemo. Co-starring with Mamemo were an endless number of anthropomorphic cows who made up the rest of the cast.
The show first debuted in 2000.
Mamemo contains examples of:
- Actually Pretty Funny: In one episode, Mamemo brings the green cow father and covers him in her toys, then goes back to the green cow mother. The green cow father angrily comes to them, still covered in Mamemo's toys, at which the green cow mother and Mamemo start laughing. The camera pans out to show the green cow father laughing along with them.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Of the cows, the one with the closest relationship to Mamemo is green.
- Beach Episode: Appropriately named "The Beach
". In this episode, the green cow is Mamemo's beach towel. - Big Honking Traffic Jam: One episode starts with Mamemo and the green cow in a yellow car in a big traffic jam with horns going off all over the place.
- Black Bead Eyes: Mamemo has black bead eyes. All the cows have Black Dot Pupils.
- Black Dot Pupils: All of the cows have their eyes drawn this way.
- The Noseless: Mamemo doesn't have a nose.
- One-Word Title: Mamemo, of course.
- Solid Clouds: One episode has Mamemo fall from space onto a cloud, which gives her a soft landing.
- Token Human: Mamemo is the only human in the show, what with all the others being anthropomorphic cows.
- Wingding Eyes: In one episode, a cow carrying a turkey dinner on a plate slips on a skateboard and falls on her back. She gets crosses in her eyes as a result.
