The Legend of Lucy (formerly Lucy) is an ongoing action/adventure webcomic series by Dylan Durmeier about a bounty hunting pig named Lucy and her friend Glenda. In 2010, the original run of Lucy debuted on DrunkDuck. It ran for 16 pages before eventually being cancelled. Two years later, a new version of Lucy debuted on October 30, 2012 on a self-hosted website, and has been running in a sporadic rate of updates ever since.

Has nothing to do with the 2014 film of the same name.

The Legend of Lucy provides examples of:

  • All There in the Manual: Extra details and information yet to appear in the comic are in the wiki.
  • Big Damn Heroes: When Lucy, Rachel, Diablo, Raemus and Mitchel were fighting in a back alley, the cops showed up and arrested everyone but Lucy.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Glenda's aunt once held off her sister's abusive boyfriend long enough for the cops to arrive, getting brutally beaten in the process.
  • Bounty Hunter: Lucy is one though she acts more like a vigilante. Raemus is also one.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Like his ancestors, Arremer turned the lizard people into his servants by feeding them mushrooms that made them easy to influence.
  • Damsel in Distress: Glenda has become a prime kidnapping target for those wishing to take on Lucy.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Lucy is known for eating rather strange and outlandish meals, much to Glenda's disgust. Interestingly, Lucy has the same reaction to to the normal, bland food that Glenda eats.
  • Eyepatch of Power: Lucy has one over her left eye.
  • Full-Frontal Assault: Lucy had to fight like this during her encounter with an ogre once it destroyed her clothes.
  • Goldfish Poop Gang: Lucy regularly beats the Goomba Gang since they consist of nothing but teenagers who don't know how to use their guns properly.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Glenda wanted to join the army like her brother but failed the physical exams. Still wanting to leave her hometown, she had to settle on opening a repair shop in Demonhead City.
  • It's Not You, It's My Enemies: Lucy originally hid her career as a bounty hunter from Glenda because of this and thought she would want to break off their friendship after being kidnapped and attacked, but Glenda was all too happy to have the excitement in her life.
  • Last of His Kind: Arrermer's race, the Garwor, dwindled due to war and infighting. By the time that they decided to live in peace so few were left that they all died out, leaving Arrermer the only one left, which may have caused him turn evil.
  • Loincloth: Lucy's favored style of dress after spending time with the Kuri-B'oh tribe.
  • Revenge Before Reason: Rachel was heading to K'upah caves to search for gold when she learns that her trap to kill Lucy had failed. She demanded her minions turn around so that she could finish the job, resulting in her crew ditching her after they dropped her off at Demonhead City.
  • Sky Pirate: Rachel became one after Lucy and an army of bounty hunters and mercenaries toppled her family's criminal empire.
  • World of Funny Animals: The comic's setting is a mix of anthropomorphic animals, monster-like people and regular humans.
