What would you do if for 8 years you had the same dreams involving the same people over and over again?

Scarred Eden is a sci-fi fantasy webcomic created by Alice Elizabeth. The story focuses on Beatrice Wright, a young college student that is tormented by the same dream for years until one day she’s left questioning if these dreams are just dreams or if someone is reaching out to her.


Scarred Eden contains examples of:

  • all lower case letters: all chapter titles are lower case letters to contrast the title of the story where all letters are capitalized.
  • artificial limbs: Uriel is seen with a glowing purple arm.[1]
  • bottomless magazines/energy bow: Dumah is seen with a bow that only appears when in use and disappears when not in use the same thing happens with her one unique arrow.
  • dream intro: the story starts off with Beatrice’s dreams.
  • experienced protagonist: Beatrice is experienced in parkour and even displays this during a getaway in chapter 3.
  • Fanservice: Quite a few female characters often wear skin tight clothes and a nude scene happens early on in the comic.
  • Immortality Begins at Twenty: Dream-woman and her siblings are very old, reaching into the billions, but they all still maintain a rather youthful look ranging from early 20s to mid 30s.note 
  • jerkass: The only character so far that bleeds jerk is Armaros. He’s described as a brute and prefers to take matters into his own hands.
  • magitek: The Kingdom is seen with advanced technology which displays magical energy/essence.
  • missing mom: Beatrice’s mom, Ailith Wright is only seen through memoriesnote  and dreams, Ailith went away on a mission and never came back. She was declared deceased shortly before Beatrice turned 13note  but Ailith’s body was never found.
  • no name given: The woman in Beatrice’s dreams was nicknamed Dream-Woman by Beatrice and her friends, this is revealed in chapter 3, page 45 and explained in page 46. besides Dream-Woman she has only been called sister by Uriel, Abaddon , and then Armaros.
  • No Time to Explain: Happens shortly after Beatrice released Dream-Woman.
  • ominous fog: During Beatrice’s first two dreams that are shown in the comic we can see ominous fog surround her and the area.
  • pointy ears: Many characters have pointy ears, even Beatrice herself. These pointy ears are especially seen with anyone associated with The Guardians,note  as well as Dream-Woman.note 
  • power glows: Beatrice’s tattoonote , Dumah’s bow note  and Uriel’s arm.note 
  • Powers via Possession: After Beatrice accepts Dream-Woman into her body she gains new powers, so far only burning through obstacles has been displayed.
  • supernatural gold eyes: Many characters who don’t seem 100% human have gold eyes.note 
  • unsound effect: Throughout the comic there are pages that have written sound effects.
