- Battle Couple: Ianna and Arhad practically fell in love through their love for swordsmanship. Not to mention that nobody can stand against them when they fight together. They enjoy sparring with each other regularly.
- Beta Couple: Priscilla and Saiwe meet through Ianna, and they fall in love. They both try to help Ianna and Arhad's relationship.
- The Chessmaster: Arhad ruthlessly and cleverly manipulates people, events, and politics of different kingdoms in his first timeline, but does so even more effectively in the second timeline with knowledge of some of the future events.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: Used and even conversed among Ianna's peers when Ianna is slightly less cold after starting a fake relationship with Arhad.
- Elemental Embodiment: Towes, Innis, Shweia, and and Kagomyne are the four spirit kings of earth, water, air, and fire, and can be summoned by Ianna.
- 'The "I Love You" Stigma: Arhad and Ianna continually refuse to say this to each other as it marks a point of no return in their romantic relationship, especially since they regard their relationship as a battle to see who gives in first and says it.
- Just Friends: Everybody asks if Arhad and Ianna are dating. They promptly deny this, claiming they are just friends - but then end up actually dating later.
- My Secret Pregnancy: Roberstein conceals her pregnancy from her lover, Roygen, and gives secretly gives birth to Laos. Ianna speculates that Roberstein kept Laos a secret because she worried that Roygen might kill Laos.
- Official Couple: Arhad and Ianna are the official couple. Obviously.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Arhad and Ianna are rivals, and view each other as the only ones allowed to defeat each other in both timelines.
- Past-Life Memories: Ianna has past life memories of the first timeline before time was erased, and Arhad has past life memories of that timeline since he was the one who erased time to save Ianna. Angelina and Harchen have past life memories of the first timeline as well. Arhad also has past life memories of his first life as the Demon, and Ianna slowly regains her past life memories of her first life as Roberstein.
- Reincarnation Romance: Arhad and Ianna are the reincarnations of Roygen, the Golden Demon, and Roberstein, the lover of Roygen who killed him. Arhad was in love with Ianna in the first timeline, but she didn't exactly share the same feelings.
- Royal Inbreeding: Each Crown Princess and Prince of Bahamut is required to give birth to a male and female heir to the throne before they succeed the throne, and in turn, their children are required to give birth to male and female heir as well in order to succeed the throne ... and so on. [[spoiler: This is because they want to keep the Demon's fragments In the Blood.
- Royally Screwed Up: The Bahamut Imperial family are all morally depraved, sadistic people. They have no regard or empathy for life, even for the lives of their own people.
- Ruling Couple: Ianna and Arhad rule over the kingdom and soon-to-be Empire that they founded as equals.
- Single-Target Sexuality: Just as Roygen and Roberstein only loved each other, Arhad and Ianna give no thought to any other romantic partners than each other. Arhad won't be with anyone but Ianna, and Ianna thought about how she probably wouldn't ever have a romantic relationship, but if she did, it would be with Arhad - and she was right, obviously.
- Smart People Play Chess: Apparently, Ianna likes chess as one of the few hobbies she has that does not involve swordsmanship. So does Arhad. Who knew?
- Tree of Life: Phaemdra is the tree of life and can also see part of the future.
- Villainous Incest: Crown Prince Taylon Bahamut and Crown Princess Isabella Bahamut are siblings - and it is implied that they are lovers.
- Worldbuilding: Both webtoon and novel are known for their exceptional worldbuilding: mythical history, magic system, cultures, geography, etc.
