- Adaptational Context Change: By taking advantage of the fact that the game's untranslated at the moment, the Kemono Friends.exe episode of "Creepy Games" changes the Friends' dialogue from "begging you to stop killing animals" to "begging you to stop playing so you won't get your soul stolen", and changes the "creepy face in the dark"'s identity from a (supposed) human who tells you that killing animals isn't morally wrong, to an avatar of "The Virus".
- I Am the Noun: During the intro of "The cursed Sonic movie", Red answers 'Mr. Loquendo' saying who is he, by dramatically declaring "I AM MR. LOQUENDO!"
- Mechanical Abomination: The Virus. Being a living virus that has existed since the beginning of videogames, The Virus corrupts videogames and tries to manipulate the player so it can steal their soul. Most of the time, The Virus also creates avatars to represent itself and torment the player, such as the Dark Face in "Kemono Friends.exe" or the Black Pacman in "The Abandoned Pac-Man Arcade".
