Dead Enders is an original webseries, in the genre of post apocalypse and slice of life. Its current season was posted in 2020-2021.

The show follows six members of the Ready, Prep, GO! forum, a converging place for doomsday preppers. They decide to meet in a video call after the zombie apocalypse they have been preparing for actually happens. Afterwards, they meet several times via call, to discuss the apocalyptic situation, as well as their personal lives.

  • And the Adventure Continues: The way the group meets up in person, off camera, without there being any resolution to the apocalypse situation, and are all back on call in the Halloween Special.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Leo and Harper's dynamic, Snark-to-Snark Combat and petty arguments and all.
  • Cathartic Chores: Jodie, when she decides to reorganize her bookshelf because she's going a little bezerk from being stuck at home with her dissertation to finish.
  • The Cavalry: The Ready, prep, GO! members all going with Mac to rescue his niece in San Francisco.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Mostly Harper.
  • Family of Choice: The forum members are this to one another, very evidently

     H-M
  • Improbably Female Cast: Mac and Leo are the only men seen, and there are very few others that are even mentioned.
  • Improvised Weapon: Almost all of the forum members have one. most notably, Harper's "spear" and Jodie's wrench.
  • In-Series Nickname: Harper calling Jodie "Indiana Jodie"
  • Minimalist Cast: Composed of only the six main characters.
  • Moment of Weakness: Harper, when she realized everyone is about to leave; and they might not come back
  • Mood Whiplash: Most episodes have a moment of silliness followed by sad or emotionally earnest content.

     N-S
  • No Name Given: Maisie's parents, as well as Eleanor's.
  • No Periods, Period: The ladies all mention that they haven't been getting their period. This is used to show the strength of their bond; they're so tight knit, they synced up without even meeting up.
  • Odd Couple: Maisie and Eleanor are this. Arguably, Harper and Leo as well, although they're so opposite it becomes expected they'd end up together.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: when Harper kills a zombie with just a butter knife and a broom when Léo goes to get Harper at the end of season 1.
  • Oh, Crap!: Harper's reaction within her dream in the Halloween special
  • The Only One: Mac is this to his niece.
  • Plucky Girl: Maisie is this.
  • Roommate Drama: Jodie is implied to have gone through this or to have an irrational fear of it.
  • Running Gag: Geneva Convenway, Leo as Atticus Finch, Mac's overzealous nature about privacy, etc...
  • Shout-Out: References to Castaway, Tom Hanks, Indiana Jones, and other pop culture items happen in every episode.
  • Speak in Unison: Happens with Maisie and Eleanor when they say they love Harper in the last episode of season one.

  • Team Dad: Mac
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Harper, as she begins to grow attached to the forum members.
  • Tsundere: Harper starts off being mean to Leo, although she never hides that she finds him attractive.
  • World of Snark: Leo and Harper are the main offenders.
  • You Can Turn Back: Mac actively forbids the others from [[spoilers: coming to rescue his niece with him.]] They still go
