Now this is the story.
Andoni Garrido Fernández is a Spanish Internet video producer. Active since YouTube in 2015, he became quickly known for his monumental project Pero eso es otra historia ("But that's another story"), where he initiated a currently unfinished series of vids about world history based on scholarly research. However, and more relevantly to TV Tropes, he also developed a way to show off his professional scripwriting background with the channel Agujeros de Guión ("Plot Holes"), where he analyzes popular films and dissects their varied plot holes, idiotic moments and bad usage of tropes. He's probably the most popular reviewer of this kind in Spain.

He released two books about his respective fields, Imperios y Espadazos and Agujeros de Guión, in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

His work can be viewed with English subtitles here and here.

His work contains the following tropes:

  • Author Appeal: Dinosaurs, being a fan of Jurassic Park.
  • Berserk Button:
  • Noodle Incident: Something really bad happened to him in Manchester, which he mentioned in his zombie film series, but he didn't revealed exactly what. He did a year later, explaining that it was all a series of bad luck strikes and unpleasant touristic experiences while visiting the city.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Not much more than the average Spaniard, but notably so in comparison to many English-speaking reviewers, as verbal profanity is not considered a big deal in Spain (rather the opposite, in fact). He uses the Cluster F-Bomb pretty often.
  • Running Gag: In Agujeros de Guión, every time a character Drives Like Crazy, it invariably gets added the music theme Así me gusta a mí by Chimo Bayo, which is associated to crazy drivers of the Lower-Class Lout kind in Spain.
