Okay, who let these four be in charge of all this?
Orange's Beautifully Engaging Spectacular Expedition (OBESE for short) is an online competition and semi-animated Object Show created by James Brooks (Double ZeroB). OBESE is the fifth season, but due to the severe levels of differences in plot and cast, the page specifically will deal with matters relating to this season. Anyone can be everyone, yet only one can come out on top. Will your favorite character reach the top? Are you the competitor to reach the finale? And who is the spy? Only one way to find out...

OBESE started on May 1st, 2020 after a month long pre-competition, but was cancelled on September 16th, 2020.

This show provides examples of:

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Pretty much every contestant is named after the object they are based on, with a few notable exceptions, primarily being Objan and Sir Cumference.
  • Adaptational Villainy:
    • Comparing her to her original counterpart, Eggy is far more villainous than before, being a full fledged aspiring communist dictator who isn't afraid to genocide entire ethnic groups.
    • The announcer's villainy is also far different then the source. Even though the original was pretty malicious, this one is far worse. It's actually Skoorb in disguise, so it actually is justified.
    • Spongy has went from a lovable, but sometimes rude, Gentle Giant to a large, powerful, and vore-obssessed threat.
  • Amazing Technicolor Population: Carlos has bright red skin that blends in with his shirt.
  • Animate Inanimate Object: Pretty much everyone in the show.
  • Armless Biped: Beanie, Clock, Eggy, Folder, Hill, Minun, Pink Ribbon, Radio, Spongy, and Orange all lack arms.
  • Black Comedy: While BOARD 2 is secure in their island bunker in 3a, Beanie begins coughing. Quartz and Picture of Larry the Lobster, also in the bunker, begin to confront him for this because they don't want to worry about introducing COVID-19 to the bunker. However, Beanie Crosses the Line Twice and states that it's not COVID, it's Stage 4 Lung Cancer.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The Donkey Kong Happy Meal Toy was planned to literally cause the Big Bang.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Subverted. Everyone thought that Derek would be useful to the plot after he was launched off the horizon, but Word of God has told otherwise.
  • Demoted to Extra: Deputy Drum and the Space Squids held pretty major roles in the previous season. Here, they are merely companions to contestants.
  • Fun with Acronyms:
    • The name of the show itself.
    • The main villains of the show are known as the Fascist Anarchy Tribe. The acronym even contradicts itself!
  • Multiple Head Case: Wall Socket is split between two distinct halves: Tesla and Watt. Not only do they have vastly different personalities, they are also different genders!
  • Nobody Can Die: Death and injuries are literally impossible. Pain isn't, though.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: Rosalina, Carlos, and Vale stand out among their object peers. Dior is a human. Skoorb is some weird bug or plant thing. Error, albeit still quite object-like, has entirely distinct limb and face assets. The Space Squid companions are also strikingly different to their object peers.
  • Recycled Soundtrack: Credited in the description of every video.
  • Sailor Fuku: Wall Socket wears one in their most recent costume.
  • Sequel Series: To Cheerful Orange's Brilliant Radical Adventure (COBRA), the fourth camp.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Spin-Off: Quite a few, actually.
    • On the official Discord server, there is a mini-series called Tyce's BFDI. It's run by the user of Jaw Fossil in the camp and is already on its second season.
    • Wall Socket's user has produced multiple erotic fanfictions known as the Epic Docs.
    • Ashton Does a Thing, a failed debuter, is making a ROM Hack based on the camp.
  • The Conscience: Ornage briefly enters his mind and is guided by his last remaining brain cell.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye:
    • Carlos was eliminated in the first elimination and made very minimal interactions with the rest of the cast.
    • Crystal Ball was a strong competitor in the game, but mysteriously vanished, allowing for Neon Lamp to debut.
    • Pun Book was the first contestant to quit, in the camp's second elimination.
    • Sir Cumference was the second contestant to quit the game and fairly early on as well.
    • Neon Lamp and Saw both debuted into the game, but the camp was cancelled after that.
