Kaguya Luna is one of the many Virtual YouTubers whose design was created by the MOON STUDIO. Being introduced in 2017, Kaguya Luna's videos tend to revolve around randomness. Her popularity lead her to be one of the most-subscribed VTubers in the early days, and she is considered one of the "Four Heavenly Kings", along with Mirai Akari, Dennou Shojo Siro and Nojaloli.
Despite this, Luna's output slowly dwindled down to a halt in mid-2020, with her last video uploaded in August 2020, and her final tweet in October 2020. Her fan club eventually shut down at the end of 2021. She never transitioned to live streaming, as counterparts like Kizuna AI eventually did.
