Forgotten Events is an ongoing fan animated series of Five Nights at Freddy's. Originally created on May 28, 2019 by Polish YouTuber Argos81. Its premise is inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's: The Stories, with each season spanning its original lore yet continuing with the overarching story going on.

Five Nights at Freddy's Forgotten Events provides examples of

  • Absurdly Sharp Blade: ENDO-02 wields one in "The Last Evil" but fails to kill Springtrap with it.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Some characters have this Toy Bonnie, Toy Freddy, Foxy, and Mangle are a few examples.
  • Alternate Tooniverse: Both Five Nights at Freddy's (Bertbert) and Five Nights at Freddy's: The Stories appear as alternate universes in the season 4 trailer.
  • Attack on the Heart:
    • Toy Bonnie suffers this in "Poison 2" when Golden Freddy stabs him with a knife.
    • One of the endoskeletons does this to Old Man Consequences.
  • Big Bad: Ennard and William Afton are the main antagonists for the first three seasons.
  • Big Disaster Plot: Season 3 revolves around the animatronics trying to stop William Afton from taking over the world.
  • Big Good: Puppet served as one for season 2, Golden Freddy and Springtrap fit this role for season 3.
  • Composite Character: William Afton and Springtrap were the same character in he canon. In this series, William Afton and Springtrap are two separate characters.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Ennard gets one of the officers and incinerates him.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: A red Toy Bonnie plushie appears in "Mysterious Task". Later in season 3 during the Flash Forward sequence during William Afton's plans, a billboard teasing the fourth season also has the red Toy Bonnie on it. He is officially introduced in "Sinister Friend".
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: There is no overarching plot for most of season 1.
  • Fight Scene:
    • Golden Freddy and Ennard's fight near the end of S2.
    • Springtrap and William Afton's fight at the end of S3.
  • Flash Forward: After staying in the factory, 28 years have passed, and William Afton is 78 years older.
  • Foreshadowing: "The Vision 1" shows exactly how dark this series can and will get in later episodes.
  • Good All Along:
    • Everyone thought that Golden Freddy was evil. It turned out that he was being controlled by Ennard.
    • Old Man Consequences tells Golden Freddy what he didn't want to hurt any of his friends in "The Unknown Secret".
  • Hallucinations:
    • Puppet hallucinates in "The Dream" seeing everyone as ENDO-02.
    • This later happens to Toy Bonnie in "Sinister Friend".
  • Instant-Win Condition: Whoever has the Power Stone and uses it first first wins the war decisively. This condition comes into play for the fight at the end of season 3.
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Has one with Five Nights at Freddy's (Bertbert) and Five Nights at Freddy's: The Stories in Season 4.
  • The Multiverse:
  • Murder by Cremation: Ennard does this to one of the officers.
  • Nightmare Sequence: The Puppet has on in "The Dream".
  • Not Quite Dead: It turned out that Ennard survived after his place was closed down.
  • No-Sell: One of the officers tries to escape after throwing a grenade at Ennard. Ennard survives and this leads to the officer's Cruel and Unusual Death.
  • Off with His Head!: Phantom Mangle kills Mr. Lance this way.
  • Ominous Message from the Future: Foxy gets one in "The Vision 1" which would foreshadow later episodes.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: During the battle between Springtrap and William Afton, Springtrap swipes the Power Stone from William and and uses to wipe William and his army out.
    William Afton: I am the king of the world! [uses the device; nothing happens. He turns and his smug complexion turns to shock as he sees that Springtrap is now in possession of the Stone]
    Springtrap: And I... always... come back! [wipes William and his forces out of existence]
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: "and I... always... Come Back!" [snap]
  • Red Is Violent: Toy Bonnie in his red form.
  • Resurrect the Villain: Shadow Bonnie resurrects ENDO-02 at the end of season 2.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Shadow Freddy falling over after Old Man Consequences dies looks a lot similar to that scene in Breaking Bad.
    • Springtrap finally wiping out William Afton and his army in "Kings of the World" looks a lot similar to the one in Avengers: Endgame.
    • A person gets attacked by Nightmare Foxy and taken to a torture device. Sounds familiar?
  • Sound-Effect Bleep:
    William Afton: Be a tough guy, not like [crow sounds].
  • The Speechless: Springtrap couldn't speak after he lost his jaw during the fight with William Afton.
  • Synthetic Voice Actor: Most of the characters are voiced by text-to-speech voices.
  • That Was Not a Dream: Toy Bonnie says that he dreamt of being attacked by Nightmares and attacks one of them when he was red. Only for him, Golden Freddy, and Puppet to realize that he killed a human.
