Shadow is visited by three ghosts. Will he learn the true meaning of Christmas??
A Sonic Christmas Carol is Yet Another Christmas Carol interpreted by Sonic characters at youtube by Sapphire Luna, uploaded at Dec 9, 2014. See it here.
This work has examples of:
- Affably Evil: Eggman is a surprisingly affable Retired Monster. Maybe not so much considering his modern personality.
- Ambiguously Evil: Yet To Come. It's not very clear how invested they are in Shadow's redemption. Evidence could be interpreted from genuinely wanting to help Shadow but acting callous and creepy to a Nominal Punch-Clock Hero who's only in it because of her job, to even a Villainy-Free Villain.
- Animalistic Abomination: The Ghost have some shades of this, Yet To Come especially, as they are not only surrounded by a phantasmal green aura, they also move in creepy, otherwordly manners and declare themselves immortal.
- Bad Future: Only natural. In this one Tails, resident Tiny Tim expy, dies along with Shadow and the latter's grave has an epigrapht to spit on it.
- Creepy Child: Yet To Come; Who is interpreted by Cream and Cheese.
- Creepy Good: Yet To Come, Good Lord. there's a REASON why all 3 "Creepy" tropes aply to them.
- Creepy Monotone: Yet To Come, when Shadow convinces her to talk, speaks only in a polite, cheerful feminine voice.
- Dissonant Serenity: Cream and Cheese/Yet to Come are the epitome of this. Being polite, soft and upmost cheerful Creepy Monotone while discussing dark topics such as Death (For Shadow and Tails), its inevitability and Dying Alone and unmourned. It's not very clear how invested they are in Shadow's redemption.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Shadow and Yet To Come, despite being dark and Jerkass, ultimately aren't villains.
- Faux Affably Morally Ambiguous: There is obviously nothing genuine about Yet To Come's politeness and cheer, but at the same time that doesn't mean she's an evil spirit.
- Lovable Sex Maniac: Knuckles/Past falls in Love at First Sight with Rouge and doesn't have plans to hide it. Amy/Present also enjoys hot mobians.
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: Yet To Come, Good Lord, Yet To Come. It's easier to list when they aren't being terrifying than when they are.
- Mythology Gag: Uses the fourth chaos emerald meme when Shadow is being a Mean Boss to Silver.
- Refuge in Audacity: Silver has Tails acting like a Deliberately Cute Child to get money. He even tells Tails to never let Blaze find out.
- Scare 'Em Straight: A possible interpretation of Yet To Come Creepy Good act.
- The Scrooge: Shadow, who's the Ebenezer Scrooge Expy.
- Shown Their Work: Yet To Come being The Quiet One (at least until Shadow begs them to speak), something that you wouldn't know from many similar adaptations.
- Stepford Smiler: Yet To Come, what comes as really disturbing is that they appear to be a type C, making their smiles and general cheerfulness all the creepier.
- We All Die Someday: Yet To Come gives this speech to Shadow. Eerily, she calls herself the exception, which only highlights how creepy and wrong they are.
- Yet Another Christmas Carol: The plot. This time with Sonic characters: Shadow as Scrooge, Silver as Bob, Tails as Tiny Tim, Sonic as Fred, Rouge as Belle. As for the Spirits: Knuckles is Past, Amy is Present and BOTH Cream and Cheese are Yet to Come.
