WB Shaggy defeated Sarvente before the events of the mod
So, WB Shaggy is supposed to be the ruler of Hell since he talks about it as his domain. This mod takes place in the same universe as Mid-Fight Masses, as evidenced by Ruv being one of the opponents that Red Shaggy claims that has been defeated by Boyfriend. According to Word of God from Dokkidoodlez, Sarvente used to be the queen of Hell and all beings that ever tried to take Hell's throne after she started converting people (prior to the events of Mid-Fight Masses of course) have been killed by Sarvente. So it would make sense that she would've tried to kill WB Shaggy for trying to take over Hell too but was defeated by WB Shaggy and simply let him rule over Hell because she knew that she didn't have any chance against him. Shaggy was lying about his powers.
Exactly what it says in the title: Perhaps Shaggy isn't really as powerful as he says.This could go a few ways:
- Shaggy is intentionally lowering his power level percentage estimates to impress God-Boyfriend (who may or may not be the same one from literally every fnf mod ever). For example, where he claims to be using only 0.002% of his power, it's really something closer to 5% to 10%.
- In the canon of Scooby-Doo, Scooby is an alien spirit monster that took over a dog's body. Maybe Shaggy doesn't really have much power at all normally, and his dog is the one bestowing upon him these wonderful gifts.
- All of the supernatural stuff in the mod is just an elaborate "Scooby-Doo" Hoax in reverse, where Shaggy is trying to scare away the demons that are arriving in his world.
