WMG / Ultraman Blazar

Returning Kaiju for Blazar
  • While there are new Kaiju for Blazar, expect other Kaiju to return:
    • Gaia
      • C.O.V.
      • Geel
      • Apatee
      • Gan Q
      • Algyuros
      • Meemos
      • Queen Melzard
      • Tigris

Blazar is a completely new show and not in the same continuity from Trigger and Decker
  • Let's face it: It's set in another continuity, had a different name for the attack team, and no kaiju featured from Gaia, not to mention that Taguchi wanted Blazar to stand on its own unlike Trigger and Decker. Then again, Gaia wasn't set in the same timeline as both Tiga and Dyna, so, who knows?

Shota Matsushima, Fumika Baba, and Tomoya Waribino will appear
  • Since Heart played the lead, it may have been possible that the actors of Brain, Medic, and Chaser will appear, even if they are only in cameos.

Blazar is somehow related to The Next/Nexus/Noa
  • They have similar designs, implying a connection between them. Either Blazar is intended to be a Next Generation Nexus, or the Ultras of this universe were directly fashioned by Noa to have a similar appearance to his The Next form.

Gento Himura isn't a host, he is Blazar
  • Blazar, maybe every Ultra from M421, has a unique and horrifying ability. In a reverse of the usual Ultra merging with a host, they can assimilate/absorb beings into themselves and create a second personality to honor the fallen warrior and the original personality will be asleep/on standby until they feel needed. Like maybe a building about to fall? It would explain why the change between them was so smooth during the fight.
    • Jossed, Blazar has shown sentience by his own even without Gento's intervention and on chapter 24 he downright separates himself from Gento to save him.

Taganular's laser beam hit something massive in space
  • And that something will descend down to Earth, becoming the threat of a future episode.
    • Confirmed: As revealed in Epsiode 23, Taganulars have been absorbing excessive energy to shoot into space in an attempt to destroy invasive alien threats such as the first Gebalga and V99.

Retsu Haruno knows who Ultraman Blazar is
Or at least, he suspected one of SKaRD is Ultraman.
  • He just deployed the team in second episode, no plan, not enough weaponry, not even complete team. It makes sense if he relies on one of them being Ultraman.
  • The team number is small (and handpicked) because it narrows down the possible suspect.
  • His conversation with Gento can be interpreted differently if we assumed he knows he is Blazar.
  • Taguchi's previous series also have the superior knowing Ultraman identity (Captain Hebikura).
    • Building this WMG, SKaRD is specifically created for observing whether Ultraman is an enemy or if a human can control its power

Eventually all members of SKaRD will know who Blazar is
But instead of telling Gento, they will be Secret Secret-Keeper.
  • This series subverts a lot of expectations. Instead of Gento revealing the secret near the end of series, his friends (and maybe families) will tell him they know it already.
  • Gento will be surprised not knowing they already figured it out.
    • Surprisingly jossed, they never figured out Gento was Blazar and he never told them neither.

Blazar will eventually develop a proper Ultra Beam.
The most recent episode has Blazar taking Nijikagachi's power and using it to create a new technique akin to the Ultra Slash, with magazine/toy scans indicating that he will do something similar to create the Chilsonite Sword. This troper therefore predicts that he will, perhaps at the end of the series, use this method to create a proper Ultra Beam for himself.
  • Confirmed! On the last chapter, Blazar does make use of a proper ultra beam, albeit instead of using said method, he did it all by himself.

Valaron is the one that scarred Blazar.
  • The main antagonist, Valaron, battled against Blazar some time ago and injured him severely. This led the Ultra to find a host in order to stop Valaron from destroying worlds.
    • Jossed, it was never confirmed and side material despite mentioning he got the scar on a battle, it never explicitly said it was due Varallon scarring him.

During the Gebalga fight, Retsu Haruno will order the GGF and SKaRD to attack Blazar.
  • The Chief of Staff was already distrusting of Blazar back when the Ultra first appeared. Blazar's defense of Demaaga, combined with the extraterrestrial attacks by the Cannans and the Cicada Men, gives Retsu the go to make up his mind and designate the giant of light an enemy of humanity.

The GGF brass is slowly being replaced by alien impostors.

Normally, they would instantly give SKaRD the go when a kaiju threat emerges, even at times they are threatening to disband the unit to save face. This time, however, they ordered them to stay on hold while the GGF would handle Irugo first, completely going against their character every episode before. The Alien Reinas has been slowly infiltrating the organization since the V99 incident, and, in an invasion plot far more sinister than the Alien Canaan's, has been trying to summon their master, Varallon. Think of Celebro, Makoto Aizen, or Sonezaki... on an intraorganizational scale!

  • Jossed. The show makes no indicates that the GGF has been infiltrated by aliens. Furthermore, the V99 aliens that do appear in the finale are Varallon's masters, not the other way around, and the true conspiracy surrounding V99 is that a top-brass member ordered an unarmed ship be shot down.

"Novaio will return".

A sign seen in Episode 17 at Novaio's destroyed HQ where Zangill put Leviera's spirit to rest. Perhaps we will get another Sonezaki episode as one last Breather Episode, before the plot unveils the dark truth about V99 and the GGF. However, it is just as likely that this is merely a reminder of the past and not a Chekhov's Gun waiting to reappear.

  • Jossed.

In the endgame, Retsu Haruno will be absolutely FUMING at everyone.

Between Earth Garon failing to kill a kaiju before Blazar does (discounting the Irugos, which are merely Gebalga larvae); Gento constantly disobeying Retsu's orders to stay put; Blazar sparing Demaaga and his Firdran power-up causing an entire city to burn as collateral damage against Brood Gebalga and the Irugos, having not protected a damn thing (not to mention how the GGF attacks all kaijus on sight, especially the extraterrestrial ones, of which Firdran is one); and Emi snoopingnote  into confidential information concerning the V99 incident and subsequently causing Retsu to be suspended by Yu Dobashi to save face; it only takes the revelation that Gento is Blazar's host for the shit to hit the fan - even if (or because of) it is publicly known that Blazar always saves the day.

Whether or not Dobashi is actually an Alien Reinas in disguise or just a shady old human, Retsu Haruno will have had enough of everyone present, especially Gento and Emi.

There will be another human-sized battle near the finale.

Once the full truth about the V99 incident has been uncovered, SKaRD will be disbanded, but the team refuses to be denied their authority to save lives. The GGF will then retaliate with lethal force, and the squad will resist and fight back, but not for long; soon they will be outnumbered and outgunned, but before they could be arrested (or, worse, silenced), the all-too-familiar Brace shines on Gento's wrist...

Bonus points if SKaRD has already figured out that their captain is Blazar all along by the time the big moment happens.

  • Jossed.

Expect many of Blazar's original kaijus to reappear in the next series or the next Ultra Galaxy Fight.

Tokusatsu suits are extremely costly, and to conserve budget, Tsuburaya needs to reuse or modify kaiju suits from time to time. If they don't reappear immediately within the next series, they might reappear in the next chapter of the Absolutian war.

All the spared kaijus will reappear to help Blazar and SKaRD fight off the final threat.

In a similar manner to the Earth kaijus fighting off the Dobishi onslaught in Ultraman Gaianote , the non-malevolent kaijus that Blazar has spared will return to fight off the Alien Reinas and Varallon. Dorgo will reawaken after the Final Wave disturbs its slumber, Demaaga would re-emerge for the safety of its child once more, and Gavadon will remember Jun's and Blazar's kindness and descend down to shield Blazar and Earth Garon... with its own squishy, bouncy body deflecting [[spoiler:Valaron's relentless assault.

  • Confirmed, they appear to eat the bombs made by Varallon to avoid alterations to Earth's rotation, though only the Demaagas, Zugugans and Deltandals appear.

Alien Damuno destroyed the V99's homeworld.

The upcoming movie villain is responsible for the destruction of V99's homeworld which led to the aliens on the run from the galactic conqueror.

Ultraman Blazar is actually the very first Ultra.
