Hansel and Gretel will have at least one surrogate parent.

Many details in the fanfic support this theory. There's how the twins are orphaned due to a Disappeared Dad (implied to be taken by monster slavers) and a Missing Mom who died at an untimely age. There's Cyril admitting his lack of experience with children, yet willing to lend help to them. Lastly, there's a point where Cyril thought of adopting and training them to be just like him. Given that the latter is confirmed after the main storyline, and how both Hansel and Gretel eventually refer to him as "Master" rather than "father", it would not be much of a stretch to believe that if Cyril will not become their surrogate father, it is highly possible for the Plain Doll to raise them as their surrogate mother due to her maternal nature.

The Raid of Sasha's Second Orphanage will happen right after the Slaver Slayer Arc, kicking off the beginning of a whole new arc.

According to the Encyclopedia entries of Nial Henderson and Sierra Underwood respectively, Lord Ephraim Ludendorf would arrange a raid on Sasha's orphanage in Sheffield by working with a Monster Extremist group. Sierra would be kidnapped in the process, prompting Cyril to go through a Roaring Rampage of Rescue. Ludendorf, a character introduced in Chapter 11, would turn out to be a Chekhov's Gunman, while the "agents of the Monster Extremists" that Sierra mentioned is heavily implied to be Wilmarina's team, which consists of POV characters like Ursula and Fina.

This event ties up several plot lines that are currently left hanging until Chapter 21.

  • First, Cyril is currently hunting down slavers in the Kingdom of Erebus. Of course, it wouldn't make sense for him to stay in Erebus forever, and something needs to happen in order to allow Cyril to go back to Sheffield.
  • Second, Wilmarina and co. have information on Cyril's whereabouts, and it is obvious that some sort of direct confrontation will happen between the two parties. He did warn Wilmarina not to go after him after all. It would not be surprising for some named characters to bite the dust. Wilmarina and Ursula, especially, have a really big death/trauma flag, given that they are continuously warned not to proceed with their anti-Moon-Scented-Hunter mission, yet proceeded nonetheless.
  • Third, Sierra is getting closer the truth that Klaus Tennstedt and Cyril Sutherland are the same person. Although she is currently in denial, the readers know that she would eventually confront said truth by witnessing the bloodshed that Klaus/Cyril leaves behind during his Roaring Rampage of Rescue.

Cyril and Jophiel, the Valkyrie, will have some sort of fight at some point.

In SpaceBattles.com, Word of God asked about the relative power levels of Valkyries, which is estimated to be higher than a hero (e.g. Wilmarina) or normal monster, laying down the possibility of such a fight to take place. Since she is tasked to keep an eye on the Good Hunter, it is unlikely that she can remain hidden forever, in order for the plot to move forward somehow. Though, should the two fight, either a duel or a battle with Jophiel bringing back-up of some sort, it would either be a Curb Stomp Cushion, or a fight requiring Cyril to get a little serious.
