Because it would explain how the guy with a metal arm was able to fight off the guy with Combo Platter Powers and 300 years of combat experience. Yeah, J'onn was caught off-guard and wouldn't have been fighting at full strength, but look how easily he took down Brainwashed and Crazy Kara last season!
