Calvina Coulange is the straight Alternate Universe counterpart of Shoujo Sect's character Momoko Naito.
Their character designs are quite similar (I first noticed the resemblance upon seeing this picture
). I figure that not finding love in high school led her to seek fulfillment elsewhere, so she joined the military and became an Ace Pilot. Just for fun: Calvina is related to Sanger Zonvolt.
They have the same color scheme, they're both quiet and serious (except in battle), and they both rely on technical skills rather than superpowers. Plus it gives Al-Van an excuse to interact with Sanger beyond "hey, I see you have a big sword, I do too." All the J playable characters will be present in Masou Kishin: Coffin of the End to establish their origin stories.
Well, Mars needs a substitute area and La Gias is the perfect place for that. 'Sides, we already have Amara Balshem in the game as well. Plus the fact that Irui shooting the moon already means something.- Jossed. They do not show up at all. Though they DO show up in The Moon Dwellers
