Cross Rays DLC Guesses
After months of advertising only the After Colony/Mars Century, Cosmic Era, Anno Domini, and Post Disaster continuities, it has been confirmed that Cross Rays will feature more series via DLC, including After War Gundam X, ∀ Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam Age. With this in mind, let's ponder what other series could be included, whether inside or outside the base four continuities;

  • Mobile Fighter G Gundam: This one is kind of a gimme, since it's the only notable AU Gundam Anime not featured in the game yet. In terms of pilots and mechs, we'd most likely get Domon Kasshu and the GF13-017NJII God Gundam, Chibodee Crocket and the GF13-006NA Gundam Maxter, George de Sand and the GF13-009NF Gundam Rose, Sai Saici and the GF13-011NC Dragon Gundam, Argo Gulskii and the GF13-013NR Bolt Gundam, Allenby Beardsley and the GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam, and Master Asia and the GF13-001NHII Master Gundam, although Rain Mikamura, Schwarz Bruder, the GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam, and the GF13-021NG Gundam Spiegel are also pretty likely.
    • Confirmed! We will get Rain Mikamura, Schwarz Bruder, the Shining Gundam, and the Gundam Spiegel in DLC Pack 3, then Domon Kasshu, Allenby Beardsley, Master Asia, the God Gundam, the Nobel Gundam, and the Master Gundam in DLC Pack 4!
  • Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ASTRAY Princess of the Sky: It's both the most recent ASTRAY story and the only one not featured in the game yet. While it could get a Story Campaign, it's more likely that we'll only get new pilots and mechs.
    • Confirmed! With the release of Volume 1 of New Mobile Report Gundam W G-UNIT Operation Galiarest next month, there will be a download code included that will give anyone with Cross Rays both the MHF-01Ω Gundam Lord Astray Ω and the MBF-P01-Re3AMATERASU Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amaterasu, but both units will also be added into the game for free at a later date.
  • Super-Class! Mobile Fighter G Gundam: A manga retelling of the original G Gundam that offers up a few new mechs like upgrades for the other Shuffle Alliance members to go along with Domon's upgrade from Shining Gundam to God Gundam.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam 00N: The only 00 sidestory not included in the game. While it doesn't offer much in the way of new mechs, the possibility of some new recolors would make it an easy fit if needed.
  • After War Gundam X: Under the Moonlight: A manga sequel to the original Gundam X that has a surprising amount of popularity attached to it that has a couple new pilots and mechs unique to it as well as a couple recolors like a black-colored Gundam X.
  • After War Gundam X NEXT PROLOGUE: Another manga sequel that was included with the Blu-ray Memorial Box. It not only features an older Garrod and Tifa (as possible pilot variants) but also includes a new Gundam Nouvelle that Carris pilots.
    • Confirmed! We will get both NEXT PROLOGUE's versions of Garrod and Carris and both the Gundam Nouvelle and the Gundam X Unit 3 in DLC Pack 4!
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Age Universe Accel/Cosmic Drive: A pair of video games that are a collective adaption of the anime. In addition to a large number of mechs exclusive to them (including several new Wear Packs for Gundams AGE-1, AGE-2, and AGE-3), it also features guest units from the UC, CE, and AD timelines. Depending on how the original Gundam AGE appears in the 1st DLC, it could be just pilots and mechs only, or it could be given a Story Campaign.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Treasure Star: A short manga sidestory that features a number of new characters and mechs, including two new variants of Gundam AGE-1. Could be given a short Story Campaign if there's enough content to make one.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam AGE -UNKNOWN SOLDIERS-: Pretty much just a collection of Mobile Suit Variations bound together in a story. Though one or two stages might be possible, the main draw is the new mech content to use.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam AGE ⇀EXA-LOG↽: Like the last entry, its just a bunch of Mobile Suit Variations with some story attached to them.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memories of Sid: A possible short Story Campaign about the Bisidian space pirates and their efforts in finding the EXA-DB.
  • Gundam: Reconguista in G: While only the G-Self made it into the last game, there's no reason why more mechs and possibly pilots couldn't be used in this game, with or without a Story Campaign tied to it.
    • Confirmed! It will be added in as part of Additional Dispatch Operations Set 2.
  • G-Laboratory Ippei Gyoubu Design Works: A set of Mobile Suit Variations to go along with the Reconguista In G series if it gets in.
  • Gundam Reconguista in G: From the Past to the Future: While only a short OVA, it is a possible means of getting a revamped version of one of the Unicorn Gundam units into the game.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Re: Though it would probably be without a Story Campaign, the new mechs, including upgrades for the four stolen Gundams, would make it worthwhile to put in.
  • New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Sidestory: Tiel's Impulse: Since the original Manga was a short story made only for a book on model customization, it could actually feature a Story Campaign that might maybe expand on the events and characters.
  • New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop: While infamous amongst the fanbase, it could at least be included to feature some new mechs, particularly the Snow White, which has been confirmed to get a figure sometime in the future.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Festival 10 "Re:vision": While we wouldn't get a new Story Campaign, we would get new mechs in both the GN-001REIV Gundam Exia Repair IV and the GN-002REIII Gundam Dynames Repair III, and new pilots in both Laetitia Erde and the ELS-Infused version of Graham Aker.
  • Gundam 00 Re:Build: It's a reinterpretation of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, which is already featured, so we wouldn't get a new Story Campaign. We would, however, get a new mech in the form of the live drama's one exclusive mech, the GNW-004X Gundam Throne Vier.
  • Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt: With that game coming soon, featuring it as DLC for a G Generation game could be a great way to promote it. It probably wouldn't get a Story Campaign, though, to avoid spoilers for the game itself.
  • Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE: The Anime's airing around the same time as this game's release and DLC Roadmap, and there has been a Build rep in the G Generation series before in Meijin Kawaguchi III piloting the BN-876β Hot Scramble Gundam in Genesis. It'd most likely only feature Hiroto Kuga and his PFF-X7 Core Gundam along with the PLANETS Armors, but they could also include Kazami Torimachi, May and Parviz along with their Gunpla the ZGMF-X19AK Gundam Justice Knight, WoDom Pod and Valkylander. There is some precedence to this, considering that both the Gundam 00 Sky and the Galbaldy Rebake are in Cross Rays as hidden units.
  • Mobile War History Gundam Burai: It's new manga that'll debut in Gundam Ace magazine's January 2020 issue. To commemorate its release, they could just add the main character and Gundam from it.
  • SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden: There is some precedence for this, as characters from BB Senshi Sangokuden were featured in SD Gundam G Generation World prior. Not to mention that, as of this typing, it's still airing and will still be airing by the time Cross Rays releases. As for which characters could be featured, the most likely candidates are the most notable major characters, including Liu Bei Unicorn Gundam, Zhang Fei God Gundam, Guan Yu Nu Gundam, Cao Cao Wing Gundam, Sun Jian Gundam Astray, Lyu Bu Sinanju, and Diao Chan Kshatriya.
  • SD Gundam Gaiden Kikoushin Densetsu: The could simply include both Selenis Knight Neo Gundam as a pilot and the Ultra Armor God Gungenesis as a unit. There is some precedence to this, as the Gungenesis and one of its components Elgaia did get new figures a couple of years ago. Not to mention, Knight Superior Dragon is in Cross Rays as a hidden unit.

There will be a game in the future focused entirely around actual SD Gundam works
Titled "Shinnote  SD Gundam G Generation", it'll have most of the works in the sub-franchise from the infamous SD Gundam Force, to the many works in the Sengokuden, Gaiden, Command Chronicles, and Gundlander series', to deep cuts like Shadow Ninden and SDV, all the way up to The Last World and Sangoku Soketsuden. There's already some precedence for this, as both Ultimate Battle and Last World are large-enough crossovers like the G Generation games.

Guesses for G Generation Eternal's premise
  • A mashup of one or more continuities from the original SD Gundam subfranchise, as mentioned above
  • A sequel chapter to the Generation System trilogy (Wars, World, and Overworld)
  • A total merge of the rosters from Genesis and Cross Rays, with possible remastered visuals for almost all units from the former due to Early-Installment Weirdness
    • Partially confirmed. Eternal has been shown to have both Genesis and Cross Rays units.
  • A new full crossover since DS and Cross Drive
  • Some other plot that makes full use of the Original Generation characters
