This page is for guesses as to how Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom will be incorporated into Super Robot Wars.

Character interactions with the SEED Freedom cast:

• Kira:
  • Suletta: Both have a character arc about facing self-deprecation because they feel they aren't doing enough to "deserve" being loved. So they could go through these arcs together, with whoever recovers first them going to help the other when they are at their lowest point.
  • Ange: Her squadron and Celestial Being could serve as old partners as in Super Robot Wars V, with her, Kira and Setsuna in general being old friends in a similar vein to the usual Holy Trinity of Amuro, Koji and Ryoma.
• Shinn: In general, Shinn's arc would undoubtedly be around gaining the trust of his new allies outside of Compass. A few characters would be more willing to give him a chance at the start.
  • Suletta: Suletta would be one of the characters more willing to hear him out, and her getting along with him would likely help the rest of her friends warm up to the "Freedom Killer". Shinn would see Prospera's manipulations being identical to how Durandal and Rey manipulated him, or how Blue Cosmos used Stella, likely developing a Big Brother Instinct around Suletta (even though they're around the same age).
  • Bravern: Bravern would understand Shinn's desire to prove himself, and be rather encouraging to the young pilot and give him advice. They would also share a laugh about the others saying the two sound similar.
  • Vivian: She would warm up to Shinn immediately due to their similar experiences, and Vivian’s cheerful personality would bounce off perfectly with Shinn's. Their relationship might also be a seiyuu joke where Vivian is voiced by Houko Kuwashima who also voices Stella.
• Athrun:
  • The Gundam Boys: SRW games featuring Endless Waltz usually introduce the Gundam pilots while they are on a mission, like going undercover or investigating the enemy factions. Athrun himself starts the movie investigating the Foundation. So a game with both titles would have Athrun team up with Heero and the others as they go around collecting info. This can even extend to having Cagalli and Relena working together on the political side, sharing the position of Big Good.
• Lacus:
  • Miorine: While they may have very different personalities, their character arcs would complement each other well. Miorine's issue is that she refuses to open up to others, so she has trouble building positive relationships, something the highly empathic Lacus could help with. On the flip side of the coin, Lacus spends the first half of the movie conflicted because her desire to get Kira to stop risking his life stands opposite to the "burden" of ending the war because that's what's expected of her, which opens a weakness in her mind for Orphee to exploit. Given Miorine is all about dictating her own life and rejecting any attempts to control it, she is perfect person to defend Lacus and get her to snap out of it. Finally, one of the things Lacus says about her feelings for Kira ("It's not because he is necessary that I love him. It's because I love him that he is necessary.") is something that Miorine also needed to say to Suletta in Season 2, since, as mentioned above, Suletta has a lot in common with Kira. In a scenario where Miorine gets kidnapped with Lacus, hearing what Lacus says to the Accords there may convince her not to push Suletta away or make her give up on that and go back to apologize to Suletta, depending on the timeline.
  • Ange: She may either act as a spy alongside Athrun in a bid to rescue Lacus, or be captured alongside Orphee, though she will encourage Lacus to not give in and fight back his advances, or she could punch him to knock him out and buy time for her to escape with the Proud Defender.
• Agnes and Secelia will have a Smack Talk-off and/or gang up to smack talk the rest of the cast.
• Albert and Lelouch will frequently discuss mission plans and strategies together as they are both tacticians voiced by Jun Fukuyama.

For wider plot elements:

• The remnants of Blue Cosmos would be working together with the remnants of another series with a post-plot treatment in the game. For example, if Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam is in the game, but its plot is already finished so the game can focus on later Universal Century works, Blue Cosmos and the remnants of the Titans would be working together. This would give the characters of the other series a reason to accept the help of the Foundation, who would try to ensnare them in their trap as well.
• If SEED Freedom crosses over with Witch From Mercury, then the collapse of Logos and possibly the Earth Alliance in SEED Destiny could've created an economic power vacuum that the Benerit Group took advantage of to increase their influence over Earth. Also, Elnora/Prospera could have worked with Foundation to clone Ericht.
  • Expanding on that last line, Prospera would have taken refuge in Mendel before going to Mercury, and while there she would make a deal with Aura where she would help Aura reach her goals and maybe even give her data from the research done by Vanadis in exchange for helping save Ericht's life. Thus, Prospera's version of Quiet Zero would be done in part to give the Foundation a new weapon with which they can force the world to accept the Destiny Plan.
• The Foundation would be rivals to the Innovades, with both sides declaring themselves the next evolutionary step for mankind and trying to become the rulers of the world. Regene would help Tieria and the heroes a couple of times when they are dealing with the Foundation in an Enemy Mine situation.
• The Foundation will have secret ties to The Nations of Mana. The Orb Union and Australasia will become (not so) secret backers of Arsenal by the end of that subplot.
  • It will turn out that "Queen Aura" and Durandal were both disciples of Embryo.
    • Going off this, Embryo could've provided his genetic material for creating Orphee, effectively making him the latter's father.
• " Queen Aura" will turn out to be a (former) member of The Geass Order, and is possibly allied with Zikhistan.
  • She and her, uh, cabinet, were genetically altered to gain a natural hold on the Power of Geass.
  • Zero and the Black Knights will take violent exception to the misappropriation of their collective good name.
• Queen Maria Pia Armonia and her younger brother Chronicle Asher are in fact Accords, which would go a long way to explain Katejina's loyalty to the Zanscare cause.
  • The Angel Halo (or an improved copy) will be another weapon used by the Foundation to enforce the Destiny Plan.
• The TV version of Gundam Wing will be used where Trieze uses the Foundation's use of unmanned weapons and advanced technology as an example of how he dislikes unmanned weaponry. He proposes an Enemy Mine with the protagonists where fulfilling certain requirements will allow him to join the group permanently.
• The Black Knights will try to Mind Rape Kamille but visions of Four, Rosamia and Emma will stop them in their tracks.

Then you wouldn't have to keep engaging in pointless, neverending fights with other Naturals, just to keep that pathetic group of yours afloat!
  Orga: Nice sales pitch, man. But you are still saying we should let someone else tell us what to do. You don't get us at all. I didn't create Tekkadan just to give my companions good lives. It was to allow everyone to decide how they live and how they die! Even if we had the right genes or whatever, there is no way we are accepting a comfy life handed to us in a silver plate.
  Orphee: You fool. Don't you realize you are rejecting the only thing that could create a world where you won't need to fight ever again?
  Mikazuki: You are the fool. Orga already said we are not interested in what you are selling us. If you are still going to stand in our way, you are going to die.
  

Post-ending storylines

• Agnes will get a redemption arc.
• It will be possible to save, and subsequently recruit, Ingrid in the final battle.

Background music

• "Freedom" for all the units (at least starting off).
• "Meteor" for the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, Destiny Gundam Spec II and Infinite Justice Type II.

The movie's plot will be combined with Destiny and/or other Cosmic Era side stories.

Given how Super Robot Wars does this all the time with the Universal Century, it's not to much of a stretch to think that it could mash up the plot of Freedom with its prequel series and (albeit with some Anachronism Stew applied) other stories like Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Stargazer.

Gameplay elements

• The Z'Gok Athrun uses will be detachable armor akin to the Full Armor Unicorn and Full Armor ZZ Gundam in V. Its moveset will have few attacks with its main purpose being an extra HP bar for the Infinite Justice Type II.
• Cagalli will be a Support System character like the system in T and 30. Like how she helped Athrun in the final battle, her support will provide "Alert" to one target.
• Yzak and Dearka in the Duel Blitz and Lightning Buster will only appear as part of an attack like the Impulse and Legend did for the Destiny in Z3. They may be an attack for the Infinite Justice Type II using similar combos used when Athrun, Yzak and Dearka fought the Archangel before the famous Strike VS Impulse fight or strategies they used in the ZAKU VS Second Stage fight in Destiny. Alternatively, they will appear in the Millenium's or Eternal's moveset.
• The Destiny Spec II can resupply units as it restored energy to the Impulse Gundam in the final battle via the Deuterion Beam. Unlike many resupply units present in Super Robot Wars games, the Destiny is one of the few to have done so in canon compared to the Nobel Gundam which does not repair or resupply allies in the source material but can repair in T.
• Mu in the Akatsuki will appear as part of the Destiny Spec II's moveset where it delivers the Zeus Silhouette to Shinn before receiving it back and flying off.
• Kira in the Mighty Strike Freedom will have a "once per stage" move where he and Lacus will use the Disruptor
• The Stella apparition and naked Cagalli illusion will be a cutscene event where they lower the Will of the Black Knights and Shura down to 100. At the start of the stage when they deploy, they will have a high amount of Will and a multitude of active pilot skills. The cutscene will also remove some of their pilot skills akin to the final battle in the IF route for V.
