Blur killed Quicksilver
- And that's why the Scarlet (or Silver in this continuity) Witch seems to be focused on him.
- Semi-confirmed in issue #3. Pietro wasn't directly killed by Blur, but died trying to outrun him, leading Wanda to blame him.
This event was supposed to be a crossover with DC
- The Squadron are already pretty obvious substitutes for the Justice League, but the series has really pushed to the comparisons as far as they can go, to the point where Power Princess looks like a direct pallette swap of Wonder Woman. There were rumours that Marvel and DC were planning a cross over and, if they were true, it's possible the idea got far enough into the plotting and development stages that if/when DC decided to back out Marvel decided to just use their already existing JLA expies to do the story.
- Unlikely. Would DC approve to see their flagship characters on a villain killin' spree?
- It is possible that once the DC characters were off the table it meant that Marvel could change the plot to make the replacement super-team more explicitly villianous, as opposed to using the JLA who would have to be heroic.
- How would it have worked with this plot, of the Marvel Universe becoming one revolving around the DC characters?
- Unlikely. Would DC approve to see their flagship characters on a villain killin' spree?
How it happened
- Blur has tried to change the past, and things backfired horribly.

- It definitely has something to do with Mephisto.
- Confirmed. It turns out Coulson created the universe using the Pandemonium Cube and is collaborating with Mephisto to keep reality the way it is.
