Absolute Virtue is Square Enix's way of testing for exploits to get rid of.
Think about it: When somebody discovers a Good Bad Bug that allows them to take out bosses easily, they're bound to put it to the ultimate test against the ultimate boss. Square Enix can watch like a hawk and get rid of any unfair methods used, and all because it knows the Lord British Postulate.
