What mythical figure Discboom represents
  • Discboom, the head of the Esper Union and Mission Control, is so far the only Esper whose being she represents is unknown. Here are some guesses on who she could be representing (they might be from an entirely different pantheon that isn't in the game yet):
    • The Muses (Greek goddesses of literature, science, and the arts): It could be just one or all nine of them. They're considered the source of inspiration for song lyrics and poetry, fitting the music-based Discboom and how she inspires change in the hearts of other Espers through the DJ Realm. If it is just a specific Muse, then Euterpe who specialized in music which fits both Discboom and the game's focus on music.
    • Athena (Greek goddess of wisdom and battle strategy): In the Esper Union section on the home menu, there's a statue by the DJ Contest section that resembles the typical depiction of Athena and in the lore, it served as the entrance to the DJ Realm. Discboom, as mission control, is able to give advice and strategy in battle, which is something Athena would do.
      • Athena is jossed with the release of Leora.

Countess Sonica shall reappear in the game
  • Countess Sonica was a boss who only appeared in the game's open beta. However, she could reappear again, perhaps as a boss fight in an event, a new mode or the updated Story Mode.
    • Confirmed. She was added as one of the bosses for the Sentinel Hunt update along with Phobetor.

The fourth Ritual Miracle boss is going to be from Chinese mythology
  • In the Best Record section of a player's bio, there's an image for a fourth Ritual Miracle boss that is blurred under their Ritual Miracle records. Considering the previous three Ritual Miracle bosses are from separate pantheons in the game (Kronus is Greek, Apep is Egyptian and Fafnir is Norse), it's highly likely that the fourth boss is going to be from Chinese mythology. Considering that the fourth boss' silhouette looks reptilian, it's potentially either a Chinese dragon or a serpentine beast.
  • Some beings from Chinese mythology that fit the bill and aren't in the game yet are:
    • The Dragon King, Chinese water and weather god.
    • Yellow Dragon.
    • The remaining Dragon Kings of the Four Seas (Red Dragon, Black Dragon and White Dragon).
    • Xiangliu (while Xiangliu is described as a nine-headed serpent and there's only one head scene in the fourth Ritual Miracle boss's silhouette, but since only the head is seen, Xiangliu in the game could have its other eight heads on other parts of its body or summon them as an One-Winged Angel form).
    • Nüwa, the mother goddess of Chinese mythology.
      • Nuwa is jossed with the release of Feng Nuxi.
  • Jossed entirely. The last Ritual Miracle boss was released in August 2023, and it’s nothing from Chinese mythology. Instead, it’s Andras, a demon from Christian mythology who appears in the Ars Goetia.

The update to the Story Mode will focus on Gaius and his backstory
  • There's a framed photo in the picture under the Upgraded Story Mode section on the Dislyte Roadmap for 2022-2023 that shows a man that resembles Gaius (especially his initial design where he had white hair) and a woman. Considering that Gaius' event revealed a decent amount of lore and his backstory and his role as one of the founders of the Esper Union, it's possible that the new installments for Story Mode will focus on him alongside revealing more of his backstory. The woman in the photo could be his fiancée, Hannah, and the incident where she was killed by Miracles and Gaius unlocking the full potiental of his powers will be shown in the new Story Mode chapters.
