The events of the movie are all simply Dante in his personal Hell
- The original (deleted) ending was technially actually the begining; he dies via gunshot in a robbery. The events of the movie are all him repeating a day at work over and over again, with the death at the end and him being stuck at work being two things that remain consistant each time. This is of course assuming that everything that comes after is non-canon, but where's the fun in that?
