An Action Platform Game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995 developed by Cryo Interactive and published by JVC. It is based on the 1994 movie.

It's the manhunt of the century. You and Kleindast on a manhunt through time. If you win, the madman is history, but fail, and all of history is destroyed.

As the time enforcement officer Max Walker, Its up to you to stop the criminal Kleindast from his time travelling shenanigans. Guide Max through six time periods as he hunts down Kleindast and battles enemies. Max can defend himself with his weapons as well as his street fighting combat skills. Thanks to Kleindast's meddling, the Levels are quite treacherous with many tricks and traps. All leading to a head in 2117 Los Angeles, where Max faces down Kleindast in his Brainblast factory.


The Timecop Video Game contains examples of:

  • Digitized Sprites: All of the characters and sprites are done in this style.
  • Eternal Engine: Kleindast's Brainblast Factory (Level 5-2), where Max has to stop the production of Kleindast's
  • Hearts Are Health: First-Aid kits with a heart on them, fully restore your health.
  • It Amused Me: Max Walker is forced into a duel by Kleindast, who challenges Max to stop him in his schemes.
  • Set Right What Once Went Wrong: The General mission. You have to stop Kleindast from messing with time.
  • 20 Minutes into the Future: The First level takes place in Washington, in the year 2005.
  • Worthy Opponent: Kleindast views Max Walker as this, and challenges him to travel through time to stop his plan.
