The GFRIEND Tree is an Idle Game by sleepground123 made in The Modding Tree released in 2021. You play as a fan of the South Korean band GFRIEND distraught by their disbandment on May 22nd, 2021. You decide to start earning money and spread awareness for the cause of allowing their re-debut, which later lets them make new songs and helps their fanbase grow. It is available on Githack

This game provides examples of:
- Achievement System: The achievements tab has 84 of them, which are usually earned for acquiring enough of a resource. They don't do anything.
- A.I.-Generated Economy: Producing 4 GFRIEND songs unlocks autobuyers for all three money buyables.
- Cooldown: You have to wait 15 seconds before you can reset for fans again. Upgrades eventually lower the time to half a second.
- Export Save: You can copy the 5KB+ save file and paste it into a pop-up window.
- Lucky Seven: The Lucky Number achievement completed by reaching 7.77e77 popularity.
- Post-End Game Content: As of version 0.29, the endgame is reaching e1180 money, but the last achievement for reaching 7.88e9 fans isn't practically achievable before that, so it lets you play another couple of hours of content.
- Putting the Band Back Together: The first chapter involves using promotion to fund GFRIEND's re-debut.
- Reset Milestones: The GFRIEND Songs and Albums layers both have milestones based on those resources. Most of them unlock new tabs (Streaming, Albums), upgrades, and buyables, but some unlock buyables/reset automation and a 10x Subscriber boost.
