Social Pressure is a Simulation Game by Jack Fox released in 2020. A new site called Pixl is taking over the world, in which people make posts and chat with each other. Your goal is becoming the most popular user by making posts about trending topics and block spammers. It's up to you to decide whether you want to become a loved icon or a detested scumbag.
This game provides examples of:
- Achievement System: There are 24 achievements to earn, for reaching follower goals or accomplishing other milestones.
- Author Avatar: Jack Fox is one of the verified users who make posts in the game.
- But Thou Must!: At the beginning, you're asked if you're up to the challenge. You can select "NO", but the game will get confused and loop back to the question.
- Cap: Followers max out at 9999999.
- Character Customisation: You can select your character's skin color, weight, hair style, hair color, shirt color, and eyes.
- Cooldown: You have a cooldown before you can post or sponsor a post again.
- Karma Meter: The people's opinion of you goes up or down depending on the contents of your posts and which other posts you like or dislike.
- Must Have Caffeine: One of the posts is "needs more coffee..."
- Retraux: This 2020 PC game uses an 8-bit aesthetic and has a chiptune soundtrack.
- Sanity Meter: After reaching over 10000 followers, you have a sanity meter. It goes up if you read positive comments and down if you read negative ones. Both sides can improve different stats.
- Wealth's in a Name: The most popular user is William Bux and the third most popular is Dexter Banks, with their choice of clothes also reflecting their status and they can post things like "I am extremely rich."
- Welcome to Corneria: Comments by users repeat very quickly. Posts do as well, but there is a larger pool of them.
