A 2019 turn-based combat/digital card game from developer Sharkbomb Studios, No More Robot and creator Martin Nerurkar.

You are a tech-prophet in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, scraping by in the ruins of what was in the far past a technologically advanced society. But a vision leads you to an ancient satellite that has crashed to Earth. Its dying message speaking of a place known as The Crypt, where safety and knowledge await those who seek it.

The light of the satellite brings others to the site, who quickly latch onto you as a prophet who can lead them to the legendary Crypt. So the new prophet and his flock set off across a brutal, unforgiving world. Hoping there is salvation at the end of the journey.

  • Cargo Cult: The Machinists worship machines and believes the machines to be gods. The Scions of the Dreaming God worship a crazy AI based in the Crypt.
  • Crapsack World: It explicitly states this in the opening cutscene. "This world is broken. Only the strong and the ruthless prevail in this land of ruins. Hope is for the naïve and the weak..."
  • Cult: Namely, Scions of the Dreaming God.
  • Lost Technology: Pre-Crash technology is all but gone, which makes products of said technology extremely valuable. Large and complete glass panes are a prime example of this trope. They can be sold for batteries.
  • Practical Currency: The currency system in game is measured by batteries. Batteries can be used to charge old machines and used to power up an assortment of pre-Crash technology.
  • Repressive, but Efficient: The Union of Five Fingers.
  • Scavenger World: The player character, the Operator can engage in scavenging and selling of valuables. The Machinists also follow this trope as they gather pre-Crash machines and artifacts in order to learn the secrets of old.
