An innovative game with a special new cartridge.
Koro Koro Puzzle: Happy Panechu! is a puzzle game developed and released by Nintendo and released on March 8, 2002 on Gameboy Advance.

The game is the very first game to use a new tilt sensor as the primary control method. The player rotates the entire GBA system to change gravity in the game so that all of the Panechus fall into one side of the screen. The Panechus must be lined up in groups of three of the same color to make them disappear. Once enough disappear, the player earns a bomb power up which drops onto the screen and can be lined up in groups the same way which can be used to blow up solid blocks on the screen. The goal of each stage is to clear out all of the Panechus and stop the screen from filling up.

Because of the game's confusing gameplay and different style of control it never released outside Japan.

The game features the following tropes:

  • Bizarre Puzzle Game: It's a "match 3" type puzzler but controlled by tilting the system in different directions.
  • Gravity Master: The primary method of control in the game is to rotate the system in 90-degree increments to change the direction of gravity.
  • Songs in the Key of Panic: If too many Panechus fill the screen, the music changes to a tense and hyper sounding "Danger!" theme as the player has about ten seconds to clear a section of the screen.
  • Tech-Demo Game: The game uses a tilt sensor as a new control method.
