Unique Enemies in Fallout:

  • "Fallout 2":
    • The game tracks kills based on categories (human, animal etc.) Frank Horrigan is in a category on his own, called "Big Bad Boss". The game defines a Big Bad Boss as a "genetically-engineered total homicidal maniac cyborg bodyguard.".
  • Fallout 3:
    • At the bottom Vault 106, you encounter an apparently sane Survivor who has the same voice and model as the Raiders, but wears a labcoat and is equipped with a Stealth Boy.
    • Mothership Zeta has only two Experimental Drones, who in turn carry the only two copies of the EX-B Drone Cannon.
    • The Broken Steel Mobile Base Crawler contains the sole Enclave Doctor in the game, who doesn't even fight back, only flees.
    • There is only one living female Talon Company Merc in the game, in the bunker of Fort Bannister. All other female Mercs are found as corpses.
  • Fallout: New Vegas:
    • There's a Mr. Gutsy Prototype in one of the houses in Nipton. Searching around reveals it was part of a man's bizarre attempt to impress women, serving a small bit of comic relief in an otherwise bleak area.
    • Feral Ghoul Troopers are unique to Camp Searchlight.
    • The Spore Carriers are found exclusively in Vault 22. (As well as Zion Canyon and Big MT)
    • Automated Turrets can only be found at the end of Vault 11, while the nigh-identical Vault-Tec Turrets can only be found in Vault 34.
    • The Crashed Vertibird is the only location to feature the Hardened varieties of Mr. Gutsies and Sentry Bots.
    • The Nightkin Sniper on Black Mountain, who, contrary to its name, does not wield a sniper rifle, but the unique missile launcher named Annabelle.
    • Three Little Green Men aliens found near a crashed recon craft similar to the one from Mothership Zeta, and only if your character has the Wild Wasteland trait.
    • The two Unnaturally Large Sized Rodents in the East Central Sewers, which otherwise have the same stats as normal Giant Rats.
    • The Giant Evolved Centaur in the Devil's Throat.
    • In Lonesome Road, the optional Courier's Mile is the only place where Irradiated Marked Men can be found. These have much higher HP than the normal Marked Men, and an enhanced Healing Factor thanks to the high radiation.
    • The female Lobotomites in the X-8 Research Center from Old World Blues. Once killed, these do not respawn, unlike the randomly spawning male Lobotomites.
    • The three White Legs Sappers in Honest Hearts only appear during the sidequest "The Treacherous Road".
  • Fallout 4:
    • The Wreck of the FMS Northern Star is home to a unique gang of Norwegian-speaking Ghoul Raiders, which nonetheless are statistically no different than normal Raiders.
    • Berserk Raiders are only encountered in the Parsons State Insane Asylum, during the quest "The Secret of Cabot House".
