  • Anime First: As with previous spinoffs (excluding ZEXAL), GO RUSH!! is not based on an existing manga series.

  • The Danza: Ehoko Kamijo (aka Epoch) is voiced by Saeko Kamijo.
  • Hey, It's That Sound!: Ranran crashing into Mutsuba Town in episode 45 uses the SFX for Ultraman Dyna’s transformation.
  • In Memoriam: The end of Episode 15 pays tribute to the late Kazuki Takahashi, who passed away days prior to the airing of the episode.
"The creator of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Mr. Kazuki Takahashi, recently passed away. We would like to extend our sincerest condolences for this tremendous loss."
  • Promoted Fanboy: Arthur Lounsbery remarks being into the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise since his childhood, following the reveal of GO RUSH!!
  • Shrug of God: GO RUSH!! uses the Rush Duel format as with SEVENS and contains a plethora of characters who share the same surnames and voice actors as that of other characters in the preceding series. However, there's no official word from the staff themselves to confirm if SEVENS and GO RUSH!! share the same continuity. it turns out to actually be a midquel, explaining what happened to Yuga between the last two episode of Sevens, set not in the future but actually in a distant past.
  • Troubled Production: The COVID-19 Pandemic meant that it was difficult to hold casting for the series, and the director admitted they got lucky with casting the core cast. While this hasn't been confirmed, it's possible this is the reason many characters from GO RUSH!! are based on and share the same voice actors as characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS.
