- What Could Have Been: According to Word of God on his Twitter, the Superman vs Lex Luthor election subplot started in Episode 8 was meant to be longer. But in light of the 2016 US presidential elections, the author decided to wrap up the subplot in Episode 11 instead. Presumably, this also inspired the decision to give Superman a Heel Realization, as his unmitigated jingoistic attitude would probably be less amusing with a man of similar character in the Real Life White House.
