• Recycled Script: The plot of the special was done in the New Adventures episode "The Wishing Bear". Christopher Robin introduces Pooh to a magical way of granting wishes (in this case, writing to Santa for Christmas presents instead of a wishing star), Pooh introduces the idea to his friends who run with it; Pooh is led to believe he will inadvertently stop his friends from getting their wish so he pretends to be the wish-granter himself, only to be found out and take extreme measures to fix things, with his friends all learning they should appreciate each other instead of the wishes.
• The Resolution Will Not Be Identified: Though this is considered the Grand Finale of New Adventures, it doesn't really present itself as such even though it does exactly what it intends to do by functioning as a Christmas Episode.
