- Cast the Expert: Scenes taking place during a game were called by Dick Enberg, at the time the Los Angeles Rams' radio play-by-play broadcaster before becoming more famous as the lead voice of NBC's NFL and college basketball coverage.
- Follow the Leader: Where's Huddles? is another attempt at producing a show similar to Hanna-Barbera's bigger hit The Flintstones. While the sitcom mold and some storylines are quite similar in plot but also include diversions from the way it played out on the Flintstones, this show opted for an early 1970s football team as its setting and theme.
