• Creator's Favorite: Of the Nightmare animatronics, Penove mentioned that Nightmare Freddy is his favorite, and that if he ever did get around to doing a Vs FNaF 4, he would give the terrifying bear one of the best songs.
• Milestone Celebration: Vs FNaF 2 was released November 11th 2022 to celebrate the 8th year anniversary of the respective game.

  • Freddy and Bonnie had dialogue planned for their week, the latter even getting a "talking" animation, but they were ultimately replace with cutscenes.
  • Bonnie would have ended "Shut The Door" with his guitar spontaneously exploding, followed by him doing the Spooky Dance after a Beat.
  • At the beginning of "Shut The Door", Bonnie would have thrown away his old guitar and pulled out the new one out of Hammerspace. Instead, he does so in a cutscene, with both actions separated by Bonnie chasing after BF, and the latter action happening due to the guitar laying near the office door.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Following a stream by UniqueGeese, Penove publicly voiced his annoyance at fans begging to see a third instalment of the Vs. FNaF series, confirming outright that there will not be a third mod outside of the Daycare Deathtrap one, and that he would outright stop making FNaF mods altogether if people didn't stop begging. He even agreed that Funkin' at Freddy's is the best go-to for a mod focused on FNaF 3 (and by extension in the future, Sister Location) overall, especially since he didn't have as much interest in the Phantoms compared to the other animatronics. He did later change his mind, however, feeling ready to give it a shot despite how it would be a lot shorter than the prior two mods.
