• Executive Meddling: The team pitched the original plot and show to multiple networks including Nickelodeon, but due to not being seen as marketable they had to go back to the drawing board and revamp the show into its current form.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Caleb was originally a puppy, and Viktor was a weasel.
  • Doh-Li was originally designed with blonde hair. Her personality was also a lot more shy and timid early on.
• Word of God: When asked what is the cause of the bandage on Caleb's tail and the hole in his ear, the True Tail team responded with "Caleb is a furry bundle of bravery, but sometimes things don't always go the way he plans."
