• A climactic scene is inspired almost word for word by a meme regarding Dungeons & Dragons. Someone offers a dragon a prisoner as a sacrifice. The prisoner offers the dragon her captor as a sacrifice, and the dragon is amused enough to accept. Of course, this being Sanderson, the book then shows what happens afterwards.
