• Dueling Shows:
  • With Little Miss Perfect, which is apparently only in reruns now. Few would consider that a tragedy.
  • With Dance Moms, which somehow manages to be more disturbing.
• Never Work with Children or Animals: Naturally, since the show largely features extremely young children, they're quite prone to having tantrums and meltdowns, sometimes even on stage. This is also happens often with any pageant routines involving animals - many of the animals want nothing to do with it and will refuse to cooperate. In one notable example, a girl's routine involved a baby zebra - which failed spectacularly when the zebra flatly refused to even go onto the stage.
